Immigration rules continuously evolve to adapt to the demographic and labour market needs of Canada. The requirements today may change tomorrow. If you are considering immigrating under the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) class, we advise you to act right away. Applicants are selected based on specific factors that will help them succeed economically in Canada.

In order to qualify as a FSW, you must meet the criteria in one of the two categories:

Category 1 Have at least one year of full-time paid work experience in the past 10 years in at least one of the 29 priority occupations identified. CIC has limited the number of applications that will be processed under this particular category starting July 1, 2011. or
Category 2 Have a valid offer of Arranged Employment in Canada. This significantly strengthens your application as a skilled worker. It is one of our areas of expertise.
In addition, you must also have the proof of funds required and obtain at least 67 points based on the selection factors as follows:
Education maximum of 25 points
English and/or French Language Skill maximum of 24 points
Work Experience maximum of 21 points
Age maximum of 10 points
Arranged Employment maximum of 10 points
Adaptability maximum of 10 points
Processing fees for a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa under the FSW Class is dependent on the number of family members who will accompany you to Canada. Processing times, on the other hand, are dependent on the Canadian Immigration Visa Office responsible in evaluating the application.

It is critical to have a perfected application. A simple detail may be the difference between Canadian visa approval or denial. We offer free immigration assessment to help you ensure that you qualify under this program.
